New Babylon – a space for play

One of Constant’s visual works (the map New Babylon Den Haag) has been “detourned” into a musical score for interpretation by an improvising ensemble. The idea of "a space for play" in the score is related to John Cage and Morton Feldman's use of "time brackets" as well as referring to New Babylon as a ludic urban space.
