Schelde shards

After a first expedition on the riverbeds of the Schelde, Clémentine Vaultier found an extensive amount of shards that would appear quite similar to non-experts. But in a handful of that same flemish mud there is much more travel that we can imagine. The artist’s goal is now to dig into each shard’s history by meeting experts, link their influences, their technical and geographical connections, in order to map this broken history of white and blue ceramics.
