Participation of students and teachers in an action where we show our solidarity with the cleaning staff of LUCA Ghent, by cleaning the campus together with them between 6:00 am and 10:00 am, this is the normal daily schedule of the cleaning staff. Our attention to the situation of the cleaning staff stems from the importance we attach to the precarious positions in an art school. Since a number of years, the cleaning staff is no longer permanently employed by LUCA school of arts but works through an external company in an outsourcing contract.
